As a dentist, I am called to serve my patients, veterans, and underserved people with excellence and compassion.

I love how God created everyone uniquely and I see each person through a different lens. We are living in a broken world, where people have faced and endured many challenges, which has led to them feeling less joy and struggling with their specific traumas. My purpose, I believe, is to bring the best out of my patients, giving each a glimpse of who they are and how beautifully they are created!

Background and Education

Drawn to healthcare and specifically the oral health field, I started my career in 2006 as a dental assistant. That experience made it clear that dentistry was the ideal path for my interests and skills. Prior to starting practice, I graduated from Western University of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD).

Dental school gave me the key foundational knowledge I needed to practice. However, I wanted to further enhance my skills and understanding, so I then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through East Carolina University.

In Practice

I have now practiced seven years as a provider and truly love what I do. It is deeply rewarding to make a difference in the lives of people who are an extension of my family. Relieving pain, restoring health and function, offering education and encouragement, and making smiles even more beautiful, are all part of my day.

At the same time, I treasure the opportunity to connect and speak with each person in my care. Hearing their stories, learning of their lives and families, and sharing in their journey is incredible. Each conversation broadens and enriches my world, giving me new insight and ways to see the world. During our time together, I am constantly finding new ways to show each the love of Christ.

There is truly nothing as rewarding than seeing people smile with joy when treatment is completed. I love to bring joy, compassionate care, and happiness to my community!

Professional Affiliations and Continual Education

I am an active member of the:

Each of these professional organizations offers numerous opportunities – meetings, conferences, specialty seminars, publications – for me to learn from the leading practitioners in oral health.

I strive to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental practice. Carefully studying new materials, innovative technologies, and changes in methodology ensures my patients have the best experiences, most accurate treatments, and ideal outcomes.

Beyond the Practice

Growing up, I lived in Munich and Erlangen, Germany; Tehran, Iran; and Novato, California. Redding is now home for my family and me. I have an amazing husband and partner, who is a blessing from God. A director in healthcare, he is a source of support for me and our children.

We have been blessed with amazing children: a son who is in his second year of college at GCU and studying business; a daughter who is in her third year of college, in the National Guard, and a pilot working towards Commercial; our other son is a senior in high school, Junior Olympian, and will be attending the Air Force Academy in 2025 on their team.

Our family also includes two great dogs: a bichon named Oliver and a mix breed named Daisy.

Time with family and friends takes priority when I’m not in the office. I also prioritize serving others, attending church and bible study, and going on mission trips to care for others. Outside of work, I am passionate about loving others, praying, going to church, and learning.
