My team – as a whole and individually – truly cares about each person we have the opportunity to serve. Close-knit, highly-skilled, and friendly, all in my practice share my love of service and treasure building relationships with those we serve. Each is a professional, constantly seeking to further enhance their knowledge in order to provide exceptional clinical care and service.

We are a family and I could not be more honored to serve with these remarkable people. I know you will come to feel safe, heard, and at ease with each!

Building a relationship with our patients is rewarding. I enjoy learning who they are and hearing about their lives, while sharing a bit about myself. Many of those we see feel like family!

I have worked in the dental field since 1994 and graduated with an AA in Dental Assisting at College of the Redwoods. Assisting Dr. Chegini during various procedures, my focus is always on patient comfort. That is easy, because Dr. Chegini demonstrates genuine care and compassion toward each person, as do all of my teammates.

Outside of work, much of my free time is spent with my husband and best friend, Ryan, and two kids, Jenna and Brandon. I enjoy the outdoors, watching sports, and taking road trips with my husband.

I like interacting with our patients and getting to know each family. It’s a joy to watch families grow and change, and to see each person enjoy a healthy smile!

I have been part of the dental field since 1998 and love being part of this practice. Dr. Chegini is kind, compassionate, and caring, and she makes everyone feel appreciated. My focus is on keeping the hygiene schedule full, following-up on insurance claims, and supporting my coworkers. Our team works together for the good of the whole practice.

I am single (widowed) and raising my 15-year-old granddaughter. We have two cats. I also have a daughter and two young granddaughters who live in L.A., and five step-kids who all have children and live all over the country. When not at the office, I really enjoy working around my house, inside and out. My granddaughter and I are very involved with our church, where I am a Care Coach. That means I support people when they’re going though a difficult time by listening and directing them toward God. In my spare time, I love to get together with friends and play games. I played pickleball once and really liked it.

It is amazing to have a career where I am able to connect with patients on a personal level and help make each feel confident about themselves through their smile. We serve the best people and I treasure relationships with each!

Not only am I an employee here, but I have been a patient of the practice since I was three! Along with an associates degree from Shasta College, I obtained my Registered Dental Assistant schooling and license from Valley School of Dental Assisting. I have completed CAD/CAM and CEREC® training from Dentsply Sirona, too. I assist Dr. Chegini chairside, perform scans and make same-day crowns, provide children’s cleanings, and much more. This practice and team are my second family and I love seeing how Dr. Chegini makes every person feel comfortable and welcomed.

I am a Shasta County born and raised girl. I moved to L.A. for a year to changes things up and pursue dental, and moved back to my roots shortly after. I love living in this community and enjoy giving back through volunteering with local nonprofits. Like many of you, my family is everything to me. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we are dog parents to two fur babies. When not assisting you with your dental needs, you can find me traveling with my family, taking my dogs for walks, or doing some retail therapy.

Dental Hygienist

I feel fortunate to meet and get to know so many people and help each achieve and keep a healthy, happy smile!

I have worked in the dental field since 1989, starting as a Registered Dental Assistant, ROP, at Chico, California. I later became a Dental Hygienist, with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene, at the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon. In addition to cleaning, root planing, and performing periodontal exams, I take X-rays and administer local anesthesia. Much of my time is dedicated to patient oral hygiene education, empowering people to keep their mouth clean and healthy. Dr. Chegini and my teammates also emphasize patient education, while always being respectful and kind.

I grew up in the Bay Area, but have called Redding my home for about 30 years. When I’m not working, I’m often found doing home projects, kayaking, swimming, or walking my dog, Bailey. I love to travel and go on fishing trips with my son, Connor, too.

I appreciate both getting to know people on a personal level and seeing the improvement in each person’s oral health. A clean and healthy smile makes my day!

I started my career in 1999, attending a dental assisting ROP program. I then worked as an RDA while taking pre-requisite classes for Dental Hygiene at Shasta College. I was accepted into the Registered Dental Hygienist school at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon. There I earned my Bachelor’s degree in hygiene with an emphasis in business and education. As a hygienist, my primary role is caring for patients’ oral health. This involves cleanings, exams, and lots of personalized education and motivation. Like Dr. Chegini and my teammates, I truly care for the wellbeing of our patient family and each other.

I grew up in Cottonwood, California, and have always enjoyed the outdoors. I love to hike, practice photography, animals, and wildlife. Married to a wonderful man, it’s through him that I’ve learned to love sports, too. We love to travel and are trying to visit all the National Parks and to see a game at all of the baseball stadiums in the US. My beautiful daughter is going to Chico State and I have two wonderful stepsons, too. My husband and I are proud of all of them. My personal goals are to continue to grow in the field of dental hygiene and to live life to the fullest.

Entering the dental field I had no idea how it would change the course of my life. I think the most important part of dentistry is listening to hear a person and not thinking about what you’re going to say next. I am honored to be a part of this team because we all collaborate on what will be the most efficient way to help our patients. Everyday is a mystery, an investigation, and a true realization on how not one person is the same as another. It has humbled me in ways of understanding and learning to provide people with compassionate care.

I recently joined the world of dentistry and I never knew what joy it would truly bring amongst my life. I go home everyday proud of the work done at this office and reflect on all of the kind interactions I have had throughout my day. I love to travel, and my sort of traveling comes from many long road trips. I love getting into my truck and turning on 70’s and 80’s music, it truly refreshes my soul. I give all recognition of every achievement and obstacle overcome to God. I believe that He has blessed my life in many significant ways even when I did not always understand why. I would love to continue working within this field while attending college, although my long term goal is to specialize in pediatric oncology. I believe all dreams can come true if you’re willing to take a few fails.
